About Us

At Almonte Family Daycare, our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and structured environment where every child feels valued, supported, and at home. We focus on nurturing each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities, personalized care, and positive guidance.

Our program is designed for children ages 5 months to 5 years and includes a balanced daily routine that encourages learning through play. Each day is thoughtfully planned with a mix of fun and educational activities such as music and movement, story time, arts and crafts, sensory play, and outdoor exploration. We also support potty training and provide healthy snacks to fuel your child’s growth and energy.

With a strong foundation in both healthcare and education, our team brings years of experience in child development, emergency preparedness, and early learning. We take pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and family-oriented environment where children can build confidence, make friendships, and develop lifelong skills.

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering full-time care with consistent structure and attention. Our home-based setting allows us to give every child the individualized care they deserve while creating meaningful relationships with each family we serve.

Owner & Lead Caregiver

Orleny Dorrejo

With a background in the healthcare field and several years of experience working in dentistry, I bring a strong foundation in safety, hygiene, and attention to detail to Almonte Family Daycare. Over the years, I’ve combined that knowledge with my passion for early childhood care—creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can learn, grow, and feel at home. I’m fully licensed and certified in CPR and First Aid, and have years of hands-on experience in childcare.

With many years of experience as a schoolteacher in our home country, Ana brings a strong foundation in education and a warm, caring presence to our daycare. Since joining me at Almonte Family Daycare, she has become a favorite among the children for her kind nature, patience, and creative learning activities. Her background in teaching helps us provide thoughtful, engaging experiences every day.
